Meet Alice

Alice's 20+ year professional career has been centered in the art world, working at the intersection of art and business. As a Senior Vice President at National Geographic, she managed the world-renowned visual archive, the licensing agency, and the business relationships with the photographic talent. Outside of her professional roles, she has been an avid collector of fine art photography and other contemporary works for decades, sharing her enthusiastic approach to art discovery with friends and family.
Alice founded Keating Art Advisory by translating her personal passions and professional experiences into a mission: to help individual and institutional clients acquire and integrate art into personal spaces. Her clients range from aspiring art collectors to established institutional collections, spanning a wide range of artistic tastes and budgets. Her mission is to holistically support clients in their goal of creating visually personalized and meaningful environments through art and a belief that art is much more than decoration – it's a transformative force that brings your physical spaces to life.
Alice also serves the arts world through volunteer and board positions, including the Photography Collections Committee of the Harvard Art Museum, Digital Media Licensing Alliance (DMLA), and the Art Committee for a private club in the Washington, D.C. region.
Her early career experiences include work at the Library of Congress, the National Gallery of Art, and the Smithsonian National Museum of American History.
